Call to worship:
1 Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen

Questions for reflection:
1. Do we know ourselves enough to recognize our need for repentance even though the specifics might not be staring us in the face?
2. Is the exploitation seen in Amos by God’s people an aberration or do we still wrestle with the issue today?
3. Is there good news and hope for us if we sincerely turn to Jesus today?
Corporate Prayer:
Father God,
We thank you for the gift of this gathering and life together as your people. As we go from this place, would you empower us by Your Spirit to live in the light and truth of the gospel. May our Savior Jesus be honored in all that we say and do.
